Believers’ Obligation to the Government

1 Peter 2:17 – “Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor

Believers must come to understand that no matter how much they would love to have Christians as leaders of nations, Unbelievers will still have access to national power.

God is not an unjust judge. He gives equal opportunities to the Christian and to the sinner. There is no possiblity as having a continuous line of Christian presidents ruling a particular nation.

Understanding of this, will enable us to accept the outcome of elections even when they are contrary to what we expected or voted for.

In such a situation as this, where the agenda of those who are at the helm of political affairs in America, we are tempted to fall into despair and apathy.

Yet, the Bible admonishes us to pray for our leaders even in times like this.

It does not specify the type who of leaders we are to pray for. Hence, whether they are good or bad, we are to remember them in our prayers. Praying for the salvation of their souls, the obstruction of their evil policies and guidance to do the right things.

Our primary duty is to pray for our leaders and our country at large.

Jeremiah 29:7 – “Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper”

We must not become apathetic towards the issues that concerns our country’s politics and economy. The failure of believers to pray for their countries will lead to its downfall.

When we fold our hands and shut our lips towards the affairs of our nation, God will likewise shut Himself out of the affairs of this nation.

God Himself has said it, in the aforementioned text, that if we pray then our nation will prosper, and if our nation prospers, then we will prosper.

Beloved Saints, let us pray for the peace and prosperity of our respective countries.

Let us pray for the wisdom of God upon our leaders. Let us pray for the counsel of the ungodly to be destroyed.

Let us pray that God’s will be done in our nations.

Amen.

THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER

Within the scope of the body of Christ, prayer is the ONLY channel or means of communicating WITH GOD. Prayer is a face of fellowship through which believers can worship God IN TRUTH and IN SPIRIT.

In other words, it is the mode of ‘fellowship with God’ which is done through the name Jesus, else, it’s not consistent with what the Bible calls prayer.

The reasons for prayer varies from person to person, the reasons underlying our prayers, are reflectives of the benefits we intend to receive.
However, there are fundamental benefits of praying, which includes:

1. INTIMACY WITH GOD

Our degree of intimacy with God differs because the CAPACITY of our relationship with God is not the same. Intimacy is the platform upon which the church is espoused to Christ (the head of the church).

Intimacy also exists between a husband and his wife, the basic purpose of their marriage is to live together as ONE FLESH.
In likewise manner, we’re joined with Christ and our intimacy with him is maintained and explored through prayer.

In marital relationship, sex is not just for satisfaction, it is a language of intimacy which strengthens the oneness of the couple.

In relationship with God, prayer is not a ritualistic exercise, it is a language of intimacy which sustains the oneness of the body of Christ.

Intimacy with God Is primarily concerned with ‘walking with God’ before working for God. It is a facet with emphasis on “the secret place.”

Genesis 5:24: “And Enoch WALKED WITH GOD: and he was not; for God took him.”

The above text is the account of Enoch’s testimony, he’s the facet dimension which depicts the christian journey into the depths of the realities of God.

2. SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Both individual and collective growth is the product of consistent intimacy with God, when every believer is growing, the body of Christ will eventually reach ‘the unity of the faith’.

Growth is a characteristic of believers, it is the evidence that one has not just walked with God, but has TOUCHED realities of God which are encrypted in his spirit.

Growth becomes part of your benefit when you’re GIVEN to many prayers which concerns the matters of the kingdom.

Nobody grows by default, Never!
Therefore, it is not enough to ignite intimate relationship with God, you must endeavor to GROW, if not, you’ll remain a new-creature-infant.

Growth is concerned with spiritual maturity. Prayer helps to draw you closer to God, it serves as a mode for approximating to a higher realm. When this happens, it shows you’re actually growing.

Ephesians 4:13: “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto A PERFECT MAN, unto the measure of the stature of THE FULNESS of Christ”

From the above mentioned text, ‘a’ perfect man is used to typify THE BODY of Christ as ‘one perfect personality’ which has attained the fullness of Christ. This is why WE pray for THE BODY, until this benefit is achieved.

3. IT IS A MODE OF WARFARE OPERATION.

Isaiah 9:4-5: “For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.”

From the above scripture, the war scenario is the immediate devastation of the Midianites, which is used to compare the conflict and a sudden conquest that Christ obtained over sin, satan, the world, and death.

As christian soldiers, we know that we are not permitted to wrestle against our fellow human, we are rather approbated to fight against evil forces.

Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against PRINCIPALITIES, against POWERS, against THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS of this world, against SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS in high places.”

The wrestling and the victory over these evil forces, can ONLY be possible through praying, else, we can’t be able to fight those forces. This is one of the outstanding benefits of praying.

Due to the powers that be, whenever you pray, it turns to be a war in the spirit world.

David was a man who uses songs to pray. Those songs are called ‘songs of prayer’ or ‘intercessory songs’. More often than not, he sings prayerfully, that’s why he was not just a singer, but a worshipper THROUGH prayer.

Prayer was actually the life of his songs.

Prayer is the life of ALL believers. This is the emphasis behind what Jesus said in Luke 18:1

….Men ought ALWAYS to pray, and not to faint

He said, ‘always’.

When something is done always, it will automatically become a lifestyle. When something is your lifestyle, it is already an addiction, there will be no day you won’t do it, there will be no day you will relent in doing it.

Pray more often in your secret place, intensify your prayers and maintain it as your lifestyle.

Let us pray!

ANGELS

Let me talk a little on Angels today: ”Do you know you’ve encountered Angels and maybe severally?”

UNUSUAL APPEARANCE

You’ve ever observed a person you rarely see but always see when you’re in some grave danger and when it’s resolved, they’re no more? And on and on like that It goes…

They may not appear in the form you expect as with wings and in white garment and the likes but they do severally appear besides those appearances in human form to men.
They did with Abraham(Gen.18).
They did with Lot(Gen.19).
They did with much more…

When they do, some men of the Spirit could realize it and some others do not but irregardless, they must accomplish their task at the time.

I’ve had Angelic visitation too of the white garment and the likes we do know of but of this I speak now, very often. This happens many times in the lives of God’s children.

You must not be ignorant of the divine and of Angelic operations. You must be sensitive as a child of God.
Sometimes we get distracted and it’s okay. But, come right back. Get in the race. Run with speed. Run with determination.

Speaking of these Angels, they’re ministering spirits to the saints and to the church.
Seeing such important role they play, why ignore their operation?

OTHER SCENARIOS

There were times too you’ve been delivered from some accidents maybe on road and from some harm and others.
Those are Fruits of Angelic operations!

HOW TO RELEASE THEM

Prayer: Prayer has always and always will be key.

Angels do not move till God speaks. God does not move till we speak (Pray). This should tell you how important prayer is. It should be for us as breathing itself for of such was it to the Apostles and early Church and thus could they last.

Our prayer releases God into action which brings Angelic interventions.

A WAR

There’s a war going on in the earth whether you realize it or not. But as a Soldier of Christ, you should know that.
We’re not the ones fighting but we play a major role in the battle.

By our prayers, we empower the divine and Angels and when we don’t pray, we don’t. I know it may seem hard to get but, the prayers of the church releases and empowers Angels. What happens then when they don’t?

Today, they pay less attention to the battle they’re in and tangle in worldly affairs, seeking after wealth and much more and rarely after deliverance of the oppressed and darkness destruction. As the scripture says, we shouldn’t be ignorant of the enemy’s wiles (2 Cor. 2:11).

JESUS AS EXAMPLE

Want much of Angelic visitations in your life? Got to be prayerful!

Jesus prayed in the wilderness after which Angels came and strengthened Him.

He prayed at Gethsemane and Angels came and strengthened Him.

He prayed much more times and received Angelic visitations and intervention (not all were accounted in the scriptures).

We’ve got to pray too!

Follow wisdom for it clears your ears,
Unchallant words gives no one an edge,

15 Things Believers should learn from The Military

The Bible lets us know that we are soldiers who are in a fight of faith. Our weapon is not carnal or earthly, like that of the human soldiers. Rather, they are Mighty, spiritual and effectual.

As soldiers of the Gospel, there are certain Qualities and attributes that the Kingdom expects of us.

Ignorance of these attributes can hinder our spiritual strength in the face of spiritual warfare. Some of these attributes are found in the life and operations of the human Military.

It will be wise if we look into them and imbibe them.

1. They don’t have a will. The Commander’s will is their will.

Christian Application: We should no longer seek to implement our will but the Lord’s.

2. They care less about everything else and more of the assignment to be done.

Christian Application: We should be mission minded, more concerned about the assignment to be done than anything else.

3. They rarely mingle with civilians.

Christian Application: Not to mingle with the world.

4. They do not neglect their exercises or trainings.

Christian Application: Not to neglect our daily spiritual exercises; praying, study, fasting, etc.

5. They’re strategic, never stepping into a battle without being backed by definite planning.

Christian Application: Always plan (Prov. 16:3).

6. They watch one another’s back on the battle field.

Christian Application: We should watch each other’s back in the battlefield of life, praying always for each other.
Many have been wounded cause we weren’t keeping watch.

7. They would risk their life to save others.

Christian Application: Till we’re ready to die for the world like Jesus, we’ve not begun. Only then could we go any length in God’s will to get them saved.

8. They may not live long enough but they live their best here on Earth.

Christian Application: We should care more of living best than living long. For even our Lord lived 33 and yet, He lived best!

9. Always have alternatives.

Christian Application: We should always have alternatives. If a plan we make should fail we should have another in the border of scriptures too to complement that one.

10. They’re always ready against attack and for anything.

Christian Application: We shouldn’t be ignorant of the enemy’s wiles. We should have put on always, the whole armor of God and be ready to do our biddings.

11. They Always pray before planning or stepping into a battle.

Christian Application: We shouldn’t venture into important things or anything at all without praying.
It literally paves the way!

12. They are always loyal to those above them in rank eve

Christian Application: Whether you’re older than your pastor or those God’s placed over you, respect and be loyal to them.

13. They stand always with the General whether they understand him or not!

Christian Application: Christ is our General and whether we understand Him or not, we should stand with Him and always follow Him.

14. They’re so easily motivated.

Christian Application: As David who encouraged himself in the Lord, so should we too. We shouldn’t always be waiting for someone or something out there to motivate us.
We should learn to stir motivation ourselves from within.

15. No soldier’s body is left on the field; No matter what- It must be retrieved!

Christian Application: We shouldn’t abandon our own no matter what. We should rescue them from the enemy’s camp, such as have fallen or are behind.

Courage and Moderation in the Believer’s Life

Sin has done a pretty complete job of ruining us and the process of restoration is long and slow.

The works of grace in the individual life may be never so clear and definite, but it is indeed the labor of a God to bring the once fallen heart back into the divine likeness again.

In nothing is this seen more plainly than in the great difficulty we experience in achieving spiritual symmetry in our lives.

The inability of even the most devout souls to show forth the Christian virtues in equal proportion and without admixture of unChristlike qualities has been the source of heartache to many of God’s believing people.

The virtues before us, courage and moderation, when held in correct proportion, make for a well-balanced life and one of great usefulness in the kingdom of God.

Where one is missing or present only in minute degree, the result is a life out of balance and powers wasted. Almost any sincere writing, if examined closely, will be found to be autobiographic.

We know best what we have ourselves experienced. The temptation is further strengthened by the knowledge that it is next to impossible to pin a preacher down and make him eat his words.

There is a ministerial immunity accorded a man of God which may lead Boanerges into extravagant and irresponsible language unless he uses heroic measures to bring his nature under the sway of the Spirit of love.

This I have sometimes failed to do, and always to my own real sorrow. Here again the contrast between the ways of God and the ways of man is seen. Apart from such wisdom as painful experience may give, we are prone to try to secure our ends by direct attack, to rush the field and win by assault.

That was Samson’s way, and it worked well except for one minor oversight: it slew the victor along with the vanquished! There is a wisdom in the flank attack, but a wisdom which the rash spirit is likely to reject.

Of Christ it was said, “He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment into victory.”

He achieved His tremendous purposes without undue physical exertion and altogether without violence. His whole life was marked by moderation; yet He was of all men the most utterly courageous.

He could send back word to Herod who had threatened Him, “Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.”

There is consummate courage here, but no defiance, no sign of contempt, no extravagance of word or act. He had courage with moderation. ‘The failure to achieve balance between these virtues has caused much evil in the church through the years, and the injury is all the greater when church leaders are involved.

There is a right way to do things, and it is never the violent way. The Greeks had a famous saying: “Moderation is best”; and the homely proverb of the American farmer, “Easy does it,” has in it a wealth of profound philosophy.

God has used, and undoubtedly will yet use men in spite of their failure to hold these qualities in proper balance. Elijah was a man of courage; no one could doubt that, but neither would anyone be so rash as to claim that he was a man of patience or moderation.

Eli, on the other hand, was Ainan of moderation. Both these men were good men, but they could not find the happy mean. Of the two, the fiery Elijah was certainly the greater man.

It is painful to think what Eli would have done in Elijah’s circumstances. And I could pity even Hophni and Phinehas if Elijah had been their father!

This leads us logically to think of Paul, the apostle. Here is a man whom we need never take at a discount. He seems to have had an almost perfect courage along with a patient disposition and a forbearance truly Godlike.

What he might have been apart from grace is seen in the brief description given of him before his conversion. After he had helped to stone Stephen to death, he went out Christian hunting, “breathing out threatenings and slaughter.”

Even after his conversion he was capable of summary judgments when he felt strongly on a question. His curt rejection of Mark after he had gone back from the work was an example of his short way of dealing with men in whom he had lost confidence.

But time and suffering and an increasing intimacy with the patient Saviour seems to have cured this fault in the man of God. His later days were sweet with love and fragrant with forbearance and charity.

So should it be with all of us that the Bible gives no record of a coward ever being cured of his malady. No “timid soul” ever grew into a man of courage.

Peter is sometimes cited as an exception, but there is nothing in his record that would mark him as a timid man either before or after Pentecost.

He did touch the borderline once or twice, it is true, but for the most part he was a man of such explosive courage that he was forever in trouble by his boldness.

Fear broods over the church like some ancient curse. Fear for our living, fear of our jobs, fear of losing popularity, fear of each other: these are the ghosts that haunt the men who stand today in places of church leadership.

Many of them, however, win a reputation for courage by repeating safe and expected things with comical daring. Yet self-conscious courage is not the cure.

To cultivate the habit of “calling a spade a spade” may merely result in our making a nuisance of ourselves and doing a lot of damage in the process.

The ideal seems to be a quiet courage that is not aware of its own presence. It draws its strength each moment from the indwelling Spirit and is hardly aware of self at all. Such a courage will be patient also and well-balanced and safe from extremes.

May God send a baptism of such courage upon us.

Refreshing your Pastor

Ephesians 4:11-12: “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up”

The secret to the success of every great organization lies in the quality of its leadership, and the response of the followers to the leader.

No organization can exist and succeed without having leaders, and without having people who submissively follow their leadership.

This is a Principle that Christ works with in The Church. The Church is an Organization in all planes of existence. The Church is a physical, social and spiritual organization. It is a Body. A Society which consists of Christians.

The Head of the Church is Christ. Yet, Christ has appointment leaders known as Ministers here on Earth, to shepherd His Church on His behalf and bring them unto the fulness of the divine nature which they’d received.

The Pastor of your Church is your leader. He is the shepherd placed in charge of you and every other person who belongs to that Christian community.

He is divinely ordained. The scripture mentioned above tells us that it is Christ who selects the Pastors, Apostles etc. None of them ever chose themselves. They were chosen by God and special anointed to carry out the tasks which the Lord assigned to them.

The duty of a Pastor is to take care of his flocks. To nourish them spiritually and mentally, and sometimes, financially. To intercede for them before the throne of mercy all day long.

But the work of pastors can become an heavy workload if their followers are not responding positively to them.

The effectiveness of the pastor depends on how well his flock responds to his leadership.

Romans 15:32: “So that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company”

2 Timothy 1:16: “May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains”

The Man of God needs refreshing. He spends hours fasting and praying, not for himself, but for you and I.

He makes several sacrifices. Goes on retreats; denies himself of even family comfort, just to see that the will of God over your life is fulfilled.

These things are laborious. I doubt if there is anything that energizes ones spirit, yet, exhausts one mentally, emotionally or physically as long term Fasting and Prayer.

Yet, our Men of God engage in these things, to ensure that we get every equipping needed to carry out God’s purpose on Earth.

If we fail to refresh them, they will get worn out, because there is only so much the Body can bear.

HOW TO REFRESH YOUR PASTOR

1. Pray for Him:

Our Pastors have needs also. They have personal challenges that they are struggling with. Some of them have family/marital problems. We must not shut our eyes to these things.

It is very important for the man of God to be prayed for with fervency by his members.

The Church at Jerusalem, prayed for Peter without ceasing when he was arrested. All over the world, pastors are facing severe persecutions. It is our duty to pray that God will strengthen their faith and give them the fortitude to bear the trials and tribulations.

2. HONOUR THEM

Thessalonians 5:12: “We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work”

When Satan wants to scatter a congregation, he starts by making them disdain their pastor. When God wants to bless a congratulation, He first creates harmony between the Pastor and the congregation.

No matter what, do not slander your pastor. Do not speak ill of him. Do not disrespect your man of God. Though, they are not perfect, but for the fact that they were chosen by God to lead, we must give them absolute honor.

They are humans. Hence, they might have temperament problems. But the anointing upon their lives, the stature of their spirits and the sacrifices they make, deserve total respect.

Men of God should be encouraged. They should feel loved and appreciated by their flocks.

3. Financial Support.

Galatians 6:6: “One who is taught the word must share all good things with the one who teaches”

Galatians 6:6: “And those who are taught the Word must share all good things with their teacher; a sharing of wealth takes place between them.” (TPT)

Do not withhold your substance from your pastor. Support his Ministry with your finances. Give bountifully. Purchase gifts for him and his family.

God always blesses those who give to Pastors. But you must give to them out of love, and not because you want God to make you rich.

Decide today, that whether you are in abundance, or you are not financially bouyant, you will always support your man of God in whatever way you can.

God Bless You.

A Rare Lesson from The Ants

Proverbs 6 vs 6
“Go to the ant, you sluggard; Consider her ways and be wise”

The ant is a very special and interesting creature. Though very small in size, it has a lot of interesting and amazing characteristics.

According to science, ants can lift up to 50 times their own weight. So small yet strong and mighty. Another interesting fact about them is that they have no ears. Yes! They lack ears. All they depend on for hearing are vibrations.

These little creatures are ubiquitous. I mean they can be found anywhere and everywhere you go.

Some species of ants can actually live up to 2 hours after their heads have been ripped off their bodies.

These creatures are so amazing and unique, establishing the fact that size doesn’t matter when it comes to surviving in thus world.

Aside these amazing facts, there is also a lot to learn from them such as the lesson of hardwork and determination.

But that is not the only thing we can learn from the ants.

One evening, I was sitting under an almond tree enjoying the coolness of the shades and the evening breeze.

Then I felt something walking on my neck. I quickly threw it off my neck, and I inquisitively went to check what it was.

I discovered it was a little ant which I crushed while trying to take it off my neck.

It lay there wounded. I decided to leave it on the ground, hoping it would heal and gain enough strength to walk again.

I kept going to observe whether it would move, at intervals.

Several minutes later, I spotted another ant coming.

After a few seconds, it got to where the injured ant was and touched it with its antenna. It did this for about 30 seconds.

Then suddenly, it picked up the injured ant and started moving it away from where it was towards their little ant hole buried in the ground. Soon they got to the hole and entered.

This little act of this ant amazed me. It saw its fellow ant helplessly wounded and did not abandon it.. Instead, it helped it to safety.

Everyday, we hear stories of devout Christians falling into grievous sins such as fornication, fraud etc.

We see some at the verge of backsliding because they feel that they have fallen so deep they ca not be saved or used by God again.

Hearing this, instead of becoming a helping hand, we Christians take it as an opportunity to criticize and condemn them.

Instead of showing them love, we become mean towards them as if we are the world’s perfectionists. Instead of encouraging them, we talk them down., instead of correcting, we criticize.

Lots of Christians have commuted suicide due to this. The place from which they expected to get love, faith, strength and Correction, they got hatred, shame and criticism instead.

I want us to know that our maturity as believers is not only measured based on how fervently or how long we pray. Nor is it only measured based on on how well we get deep revelations from the Bible. It is also measured based on how we handle situations around us.

We are on a journey and this journey is a journey filled with stumbling blocks. No one is perfect but we are moving towards perfection.

Many are going to fall but it is the job of those who are already strong in those areas to bring them up, love, encourage and correct them.

Let us help each other on this journey.
Let us carry each other along.
Let us intercede for one another.
Let us fellowship with one another.

Don’t make anyone feel bad for falling. Remember it could happen to anyone and even you.

The Apostle said, “Let brotherly love continue”.

The Road to Eternity is full of thorns and trials, but if we stick to one another, we can definitely overcome.

The Secret to my Thrive even during The Pandemic – Nathaniel Stephen

Nathaniel Stephen is a healing Evangelist based in the Nigeria. He is full of the power of The Holy Spirit, and is being used mightily by God to bring revival upon Nigeria and the globe.

In this interview with Koinonia Art’s Journalist, Godwin Wobo, Stephen that shares with us, his life story.

(Interviewer’s Questions in Bold Italics)

Tell us about your Background.

I am from a good family background. My Mom was an Evangelist, not necessarily by title, but she did the work of an EVANGELIST alot.

She would be sick, yet, would still go for Evangelism. Her bad health could not stop her. She was definitely a woman full of pious love and reverence for the things of God.

My Dad was not really stable, but God was helping him.

I got born again in 2014. It was a beautiful experience. But a while later, I backslid. I fell from The Faith.

I totally changed in 2016. No one preached to me. I had an Encounter with God that transformed me overnight, and made me come back to the Lord.

How was the inception stage of your ministry?

It was pretty cool. I think I would have preferred it to what I see now. I hated crowds. I love to be hidden. Then, it was just myself and twelve others that the Lord had sent to me. Eventually, things began to change. Doors of expansion began to open, and here I today, more known than I was before.

What was your greatest challenge in ministry?

I have faced several challenges in ministry. Both Physical and Spiritual challenges. But I think the greatest of these challenges is that, I was very determined to know who my wife would be, (laughs).

I was so interested in knowing God’s will for my marital status, that I began to get distracted from God’s purpose for my ministry.

Thank God for His enlightenment. I realized it was a mere distraction. When the right time comes, the right woman would come.

But it was a challenge overcoming those thoughts and obsession with who I might marry.

You have witnessed several incredible miracles of God in your life. Yet, which of these miracles would you describe as very fascinating?

For me, there is no Miracle which is greater than the miracle of salvation.

As you said, God has performed incredible miracles in my ministry. I have seen miracle alerts, HIV Positive turn Negative, deaf ears opened, Blind eyes seeing, Ulcer dissipating etc. The list is endless. God has been very faithful to us.

In spite of these, I’ll still say that the Miracle of salvation is the greatest.

There is no Miracle as great as a sinner becoming a saint; a strumpet becoming a prophet; an atheism extremist becoming a lover of the Gospel.

These are miracles we see daily. Lives transformed. Minds renewed. There is no Miracle as great as that.

Ever since its inception, your ministry has thrived. Despite the Pandemic and lockdown, it keeps growing bigger. Evangelist, what is the secret to the continuous thrive of your ministry?

Quite a lot of persons have asked me that question. And when they ask me, they probably expect a big answer.

But the secret to my success in Ministry is that I always follow the leading of The Holy Spirit. What He says I should do, I do. What He says I shouldn’t do, I do not do. The Holy Spirit is very important to success both in ministry and in every other endeavor.

I do not even see this work as my ministry. It is His Ministry. I am merely the caretaker.

He has His compass orchestrated for the leading of His Ministry. As His caretaker here on Earth, my job is to continually look at that compass and align myself with the angle it is reading.

Sir, you’re a a student, as well as a preacher. These two facets of life can be quite tasking and demanding of attention. Yet, you’re excelling in the both of them. How do you do that?

God helps me in my academics. It may seem unbelievable, but when I’m preparing for exams, I do not read the entire topics in the recommended texts.

The Holy Spirit directs me to the topics from which the exam questions will be set. I study those topics intensively, and discover on the day of the exam, that indeed, the exam was set from them.

What are some of the things you are grateful for in Ministry?

I am presently in full time ministry and am grateful for many things.

The crowds that turn up at our crusades.
The speed He granted me.
His mercies He has shown me.
The signs and wonders .
The expansion in finances, numbers etc.

I am very grateful to God for these things and I attribute them to nothing else but His Grace.

What advice would you give to ministers globally. Especially the young ones?

While you have alot of prophecies over your life, ensure to yield to divine Instructions and principles. Young ministers are particularly stubborn when it comes to following God bureaucratically.

The passions of ones youth can tempt one to serve God recklessly. But God is a God of order. And He be followed based on the Principles which He has revealed in Scriptures, and the Instructions which He gives to us through The Holy Spirit.

Never attend a meeting God wants you to attend without leaving that meeting with a decision made and an action to take.

We hope you have been blessed by the written highlights of this phenomenal interview with Nathaniel Stephen.

Meditate wholly on these things. Imbibe the lessons into your heart, and practice them.

The Lord Bless You.

Do not forget to drop a like and leave a comment. We would love to hear from you.
