Marriage in Christ

So beautiful yet our desires must be contained,
So blissful yet our tolerance is needed.

So glamorous yet we need knowledge to sustain it,
So fruitful yet we must reveal him.

So greatly adorned yet we need endurance,
So perfectly equipped yet we need forbearance.

So powerful yet we must be humble,
So creative yet we must be always be connected.

So colorful yet we must be hardworking,
So impactful yet we must be submissive.

So productive yet we must give attention,
So peaceful yet we must be patient.

So loving yet we must give resources,
So lovely yet time is needed..

Marriage is a hardwork you must give yourself to God and be fully ready to take the responsibilities for it to work perfectly.

I KNOW YOU NOT

The call of duty,
Tramples of beauty,
What was your work while you were here,
Sayeth the master,
Be gone from me for I know you not.

The Harvest is large,
But yet the labourers are few,
How many fields did you plough,
Sayeth the master,
Be gone from me I know you not.

Thou unfaithful servant,
How long will you wait,
How long will you engage your desires,
Sayeth the master,
Be gone from me, I know you not.

Thou covetous servant,
How long will you crave,
After things that wage war,
Against your very soul,
Sayeth the master,
Be gone from me I know you not.

Thou worker of inquity,
How long will you walk in darkness,
How long will you give yourself to sin,
How long will you desroy your temple,
Sayeth the master,
Be gone from me, you workers of inquity.

Thou carnal servants,
How long will you preach gold and silver,
How long will you give yourself to idols,
How will you give yourself to human craftiness,
Sayeth the master,
Be gone from me, I know you not.

He that have an ear,
Let him hear hear,
What the spirit says,
To the churches..

ABIDE

There is no greater refuge,
Except in Him,

There is no greater hope,
Unless we have him.

There is no greater future,
If we don’t behold him.

There is no greater answer,
If we don’t seek him.

There is no greater mater,
If we don’t follow him.

There is no greater educator,
If we don’t listen to him.

There is no greater savior,
If we don’t know him.

There is no greater comforter,
If we don’t understand him.

Teach me how to abide,
So that I can be immersed.

Take me to your abode,
So that I can learn your ways.

Open yourself to him,
So that I can live forever.

Abide in Christ Jesus

UNBROKEN

Tear me down for I will not bend,
Persecute me for I will not curse,
Stone me for I will pray for you.

Stand against me for I will walk away,
Take me to death for I will not be afraid,
Take me into the dungeon, for I will still preach.

Bind me in chains, I will still write,
Smash me in my face, I will still sing,
Take away my possession, I have peace of mind.

Crucify me , my redeemer liveth,
Afflict me with pains and tribulations I will rise again;

Chase after me , the lord is my safety,
Throw me into the furnace of fire I will live again…!

REASON FOR OUR MERRIMENT

His birth birthed celebration-
In Him we found Jubilation.
Kill the question, ignite action
All has qualified, no audition.
His birth replied our petition-
Even our unanswered questions.

Be merry in this merry feast-
Eat your fried chicken at least.
Wise men did theirs at the East.
Even the evangelist and priest.
Sing till your voice crest summit-
Be merry in this merry feast

Mehhhhh… Sounding with solo,
Joy everywhere; singing with alto.
Hail our master, bravo!
We are happy, let’s call on alonso.
Dance to the allegro,
Saviour is the commando.

Because the world is tattered
Ruthless and it’s scattered
The lamb was slaughtered
For hope that has been shattered
Its skin, used to cover the uncovered
He restored hope that was shattered

The year has been tough
Full of falls, thorns and rough.
But His love was ever enough.
In life’s prison we were in handcuff
But He ransomed us in His love.
Thank you Lord, for your Love

The tale was not by sight,
Neither was it by might
It was the light twice as bright;
At the new born’s sight.
Let’s merry in His only light
For the blind has seen the light.

INTIMACY

Take me to your inner chambers.
Take me to your palace of love.
Lead me to your desired pastures.
Uphold me with your arm;
Your stretched arms.

Draws me closer…
Pull me into your rivers of revelation.
Show me the path to your everlasting grace;

Breastfeed me with the milk of your words..
Revive me with the speakings of your spirit.

Teach me with the understanding of the ancient….
For my life Will be empty without you…!

In Addy My Saviour

How could a woman
bleeding, and weak
Ignore her repulsiveness…and shun her mockers, just to press in, and touch You?

“She was so confident
You’d come through for her”.
And you did!

How could four friends
Helpless and desperate, but unfazed by inaccessibility, break through the roof
Just to “dump” their friend, at Your feet.?

They were so certain
You won’t leave him the same.
And you didn’t!

Jesus

All through the ages, men have braved the “impossible”
Despised mockery,
and remained unflinching
Even in the face of fierce, and adversity.
All because of You.
They put their Faith in you,
and You never let them down.
You’ve always come through, for all who trust in you.

You’re ever reliable.
Never changing.
Ever faithful….and always true.

Happy birthday in advance, dear Jesus.
The reason for our
Faith….
It’s a privilege knowing You.

BEHIND THE SCENE

See them!
Single ladies,
garnished with beauty
from head to toe.
With snow like teeth
smiling for the camera
and confidence hugging them tightly,

On their foreheads written
“single not searching”
But behind the scene
in their wardrobes they sit
mourning the pangs of
“single at thirty”
What they feel they don’t show us!

See them!
single guys,
dressed in designers,
too attractive to be called handsome,
dangerous flirts,
can’t control the-in-between their legs,

on their foreheads written
“single, want to mingle”
But behind the scene
their minds sing a sorrowful song of
“I wish I had something serious, not an unstable existence”
what they feel they don’t show us!

See them!
Married couples,
in public sugarcoated love,
a mixture of chocolate and honey romance,
and two glasses of wine for both.
But behind the scene,
wife yells at night,
“jobless man, you do nothing,
I get to pay all the bills’!
and husband with a slap replies,
“watch your mouth woman
or you get another slap for a goodnight”
what they feel they don’t show us!

See them!
public figures,
with smiling faces on TV,
cute winks for the camera,
three times a day,
confident speeches,
and the”I rule the world” looks
riding in big cars in show off dresses,

Celebrity lifestyle at it’s peak
coupled with the “I am fine” gesture,
But behind the scene,
there’s a ripped soul,
drowning in salty eye juice,

A broken spirit,
and a “your condition is critical” note
from the surgeon
what they feel they don’t show us!

See them!
Everyone,
physical perfection,
An “I don’t care about what people say about me” attitude
comedy tanks,
brainiacs,
with heavenly looks,
A dozen of hangout friends,
A touch of crazy
and a”never sad” body language
But behind the scene
Mental disorder!
An “I never fit in” feeling
and a suicide note under the cabinet,
what they feel they don’t show us!

GOD IS IN THE RAIN

First the weather changes her dress,
Accompanied by the clapping thunderstorm,
Creating an aisle like a red carpet
then the celebrant comes,

Walking down the aisle,
Like a bride in liquidity,
Making roofs rumble,

Trees dance,
And farmlands hold parties
with ponds, rivers and seas,
Singing songs in different dialects.

The Broken-hearted open their arms wide,
For rain is the finest tailor,
And waterfalls yell
“God is in the rain”
God is the rain!”
