First the weather changes her dress,
Accompanied by the clapping thunderstorm,
Creating an aisle like a red carpet
then the celebrant comes,
Walking down the aisle,
Like a bride in liquidity,
Making roofs rumble,
Trees dance,
And farmlands hold parties
with ponds, rivers and seas,
Singing songs in different dialects.
The Broken-hearted open their arms wide,
For rain is the finest tailor,
And waterfalls yell
“God is in the rain”
God is the rain!”

THE LIONESS IN YOU

As Women we are called, “men with wombs”. We are not meant for the the kitchen alone. We are loaded.
We carry destinies in us.
Dear woman,
You are not empty. You carry greatness within you. Do not degrade yourself?
I am proud to be called a woman!
With my womb I birth forth realities.
Did you know?
Every great and lasting move of God that has ever happened in this world had women as Partners in prayer!
You are not ordinary! You carry a heavy ordination! Do not abort it!
Let the lioness in you arise!
For sin to find entry into this world, Satan understood that he needed the woman (Gen 3:1).
For the savour to be born God partnered with a woman called Mary (Matt 1:20-25).
Women like Kathryn khulman, Amiee MacPherson, Maria Woodworth Etter shook the world, because they aligned with God totally.
Do not waste your existence! Let the lioness in you arise!
Be a virtuous woman (Prov. 31:10-31).
You carry potentials, Unleash them!
We are the latter days women, we must make exploit!
YOU VS THE STORM
What do you do when you find yourself amidst a storm?
Do you run away from the storm?
Do you let the storm engulf you or eat you up?
Or do you calm the storm, look for ways to calm the storm or call on someone to help you calm the storm?
Running away from a storm is not a good idea. Running away from the storm can save you, but not for too long.
Running away from the storm would only bring disparage in our hearts, because we will eventually keep running from it all the days of our lives.
There comes a time in our lives as humans when we face storms; a variety of unfortunate events and troubles. A storm is anything that comes to threaten your peace, make you restless, and give you instability by making you get stuck in sadness, displeasure or a deep kind of pain.
A storm can be anything; a pandemic, a disappointment, insurgency, insecurity, fear, lack of hope, poverty, injustice or whatever stands to disturb your peace.
During a storm, we’re likely to lose hope, especially when the situation is really intense or critical. We are likely to sink in to depression, lose faith and feel that we have lost it all; in the time of illness, pandemic, insecurity, the loss of our loved ones, poverty, rejection and pain.
But in the midst of these, I want you to know that there’s only one person, who can calm all the storms of life. His name is Jesus.
It was He who died for us all and He will always calm the storms in our lives if we call on to him!
In Matthew 8:23-27, His disciples were faced with a great sea storm while with Jesus. They were afraid, they were scared, they lost their faith and were already sinking in to total pain of the body and mind.
That illustrates that anyone can be scared in tough times and that it is not a crime to be scared.
Jesus was asleep, yet, they woke him up because they knew very well only him could calm the storm. When Jesus woke up, He rebuked the storm and it became still, and the disciples were at peace again.
Sometimes, even as disciples of Jesus, the storms of life can make us panic and anxious; you might be in such situation right now.
The storms of the virus, inflation and bad economic situation, might be so fierce that it seems like you’ll sink.
I have good news for you. Jesus is with you even in the boat! In the midst of the turmoil, the casting down and the streaks of lightning, Jesus is with you.
But Jesus will not calm the storm if you don’t wake him up! Our God never sleeps nor slumbers, but the sleeping of Jesus in the boat is an analogy from which we learn that God will be silent if you do not take a step of faith.
Jesus is willing to calm the storm in your life! Wake him up with your faith, with a cry of faith!
Give God a sign that you’re in for it, and don’t be discouraged while waiting.
He’ll never leave you nor forsake you. God says “I will be with you till the end of time” – Matthew 28:20. Believe it!
I know it’s tough. Maybe, you have gotten tired of hoping already, you don’t see any escape route but listen Jesus has not forgotten about you.
God still has your name in the middle of his palm and He is saying,
“I am in your boat! Do not be afraid! Wake me up! Call upon me and I will calm the storm in your life! I love you and I will always be with you!”
Don’t forget that you’re loved beyond measure.
May the peace of the lord Jesus Christ be with you now and always. Amen!
The Great Cost Of Negligence
How shall we escape darkness,
If we neglect light?
How shall we escape hunger,
If we neglect farming?
How shall we escape suffering,
If we neglect caution?
How shall we escape ignorance,
If we neglect knowledge?
How shall we escape failure,
If we neglect study?
How shall we escape sorrow,
If we neglect Joy?
How shall we escape illness,
If we neglect our health?
And, how then shall we escape death,
If we neglect eternal life?
Think about it.

HOME
One day, I will fall in to a deep sleep,
Man will call it death,
They will say
“the devil has won again”
They will fill the air with cries,
Sorrowful music,
and tears will dance on their faces,
In their dinning tables,
They will share pain in broken plates,
Mourn like hope has departed from earth
And dance their heads to the deadly music of the night owl
But I,
I will call it freedom!
redemption and revival,
A journey to where I really belong!
Where peace lives
And joy dances with a crown on her head,
A home of kings and
Priestly people
Where my father resides
I will call it
Home!

Grieve not The Spirit!
Eph 4:30 (KJV) ‘And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.’
Of recent, I’ve been studying the works of great Puritan authors such as AW Tozer, AW Pink, Charles Spurgeon and Thomas Watson, and it’s actually given me a kind of rethink and perspective about how we preach about Sin and Grace in the Church.
You see, while trying to avoid the snares of legalism, one can end up falling into the pit of Abused-Grace doctrines.
I see believers, who in the name of preaching Grace say,
“Your sin doesn’t matter to God anymore. He doesn’t care about it”
“When you sin, instead of confessing your sin, confess your righteousness”.
These things are false!
Sin might not separate you from the love of God but sin will definitely separate you from fellowship with God.
And I’m not just talking about unintentionally making a mistake, I’m talking about intentionally living your life as you please, without the restraints of the Gospel and the Scriptures.
Sin is a pollutant of the spirit.
A believer living in sin is like mud being poured into clean water, such Believer will have a polluted and darkened spirit, and he’ll lose the fragrance of God’s Presence in his spirit.
Paul wasn’t exaggerating when he said we FLEE FROM ALL APPEARANCES OF SIN
Don’t try to negotiate your way out of it.
Don’t try to pervert scriptures to justify it.
FLEE FROM IT!
A believer who comfortably lives in sin is just like an angel who prefers the Darkness of hell to the pleasures of Heaven.
I’ve never seen a place in the Bible in which masturbation was outrightly condemned, neither have I seen a true believer who masturbated and was happy.
It has a way of bringing your spirit under condemnation and accusation or the enemy, and nothing weakens ones spiritual senses like condemnation especially when it arises from a sin you committed.
It is even more wrong to assume that God understands why you’re sinning.
What is there to understand in why one who professes love for God will do the things God hates?
What is there to understand in why one who professes Christ as His Savior, still refuses to accept Christ as His Lord?
What should be understood to excuse a child going to mess Himself up with mud, just after his father gave him a whole bath?
Stop tolerating sin!
It Grieves the Holy Spirit!
Many of us have grieved the Spirit, but because we’re so used to sin and we barely commune with our hearts, we do not even know that He has been grieved.
Such a person will become like Samson, who quenched the Spirit at the laps of Delilah.
When the Philistines arose against him, he woke up, and shook his body and probably said, ‘I will arise and fight against them’, but he didn’t know that the Spirit had left Him.
Many Christians are slowly losing the Influences of the Holy Spirit.
They still feel goosebumps during worship. They still smile in church, but they’ve lost fellowship with God
The flow is no longer there, because they’ve grieved the Holy Spirit.
Grieving the Holy Spirit doesn’t mean He’s a weak, petty, emotional being as many people present Him these days.
No!
Grieving the Spirit is much deeper than that!
It’s like looking at your Father and spitting at his face.
It’s like rebelling against your mother, (we’re told in Proverbs that a rebellious son is the grief of his mother).
My dear reader, I beseech you to chose the path of Consecration and Holiness.
True Holiness isn’t Legalistic.
True Holiness is divine.
The believer who lives in Holiness has a soul that glitters like the stars and radiates like the sun.
Holiness is the glory and beauty of our souls.
Finally, I beseech you once again, that you flee ALL APPEARANCES OF EVIL.
Do a heart check today and ask God to reveal to you, those bessetting sins that have been weighing your spirit down.
For some, it is Malice.
Malice..
Unforgiveness…..
A believer living in malice is like a bag, full of stones and hard rocks that keeps it one place and prevents it from being moved and directed by the influences of the east wind.
Let go….
Learning how to forgive was a difficult task for me, but I spoke to my soul, and I told myself I would let go, I would forgive.
If I still keep in mind the number of times I’ve been mocked and betrayed and insulted by even those I called my own, then I wouldn’t be here today.
For the sake of your fellowship with God, let go of the hurt and the malice.
Lay aside all bessetting and entangling sin that ye may run and finish this race with a prize with a prize.
Shalom!
A STRANGE LIFE
We are in a world where thorns and pain seems to be our daily bread; where sorrow is like a friend banging on the door, and we have no choice but to open up to it.
It’s a dark world filled with gross darkness, so much that we have to do almost everything with uncertainty.
“What if this is just the end of this strange life?”
Our trust and confidence have been taken for granted numerous times.
When we look back, it’s a big regret of so many wrong decisions we have made due to pressure and fear.
It’s pain in me! It’s pain in you!
It’s pain in us all!
“What if this is just the end of this strange life?”
While we live on, truth is, we have longed died inside of us.
Pain, fear and sorrow have put us in a place worse than the grave itself, a state of depression and confusion, and we count towards a time and a moment when we will finally live life or probably LEAVE THIS LIFE.
“But, What if this is just the end of this strange life we are living?”
Yes! It’s the end of this strange life friend!
A life without God brings all these; a life void of the presence of the Loving Father, full of grace and mercy.
So how about we come to the end of this strange life now,
How about we embrace the One in whom true life and peace dwells.
For strange life is a life outside the Lord,
But TRUE LIFE is one found and established in CHRIST JESUS!
Embrace Jesus now. Receive His true life and cast you cares upon Him!
Shalom

BOSOM OF CHRIST
Bosom of Christ, the most sweetest place,
Flowing of immortality and life,
Therein souls are clinging unto,
To enjoy eternal life,
You are the fairest of ten thousands.
Life runs in your blood without ceasing,
You are the bread of life,
Therein the apostles ate,
Conquerors are they that taste the life in you.
Through strength from you we triumph,
We are free from the shackles of sin,
Granted power for a holy life,
Your bossom is the most sweetest place.

MEN WITH THE LIPS OF GOD
1 Samuel 17:11 “When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.”
1 Samuel 17:37 “David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.”
1 Samuel 17:43: “And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.”
1 Samuel 17:44: “And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.”
1 Samuel 17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
1 Samuel 17:46: “This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.”
1 Samuel 17:47: “And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands.”
I was studying Genesis 1, and the Lord began to speak to me some things about the power of words, I desire to use this post as a means to share those lessons the Lord taught me, with you.
When God was about to create this world, He spoke. He said it and it happened. Everything God sought to create, He conceived within, and birthed out through His Word.
Words are powerful. When a sorcerer desires to conjure a powerful charm or release a powerful spell, his most potent weapon is his words.
Spells are nothing more than words released with the accompaniment of a spirit t accomplish a desired task.
The spirit realm is governed by the power of the tongue and even God operates this way. God always speaks before He acts, that’s why there’s something known as Prophecy.
The Art of Speaking is something that even the Saints of old were masters of. They knew how to speak like God even in the toughest of situations.
In 1 Samuel 17, a Philistine Giant named Goliath came to trouble and intimidate Israel.
Goliath wasn’t an ordinary giant, he was a large and powerful one. He was ten feet tall, with the largest of weapons.
The size of his spear tip alone weighed fifteen pounds, his armor weigh a hundred and twenty pounds. He was intimidating in size and stature.
Day and night, he ridiculed the armies of Israel and none of them dared oppose, none but a little shepherd boy.
While everyone hid in cowardice, David walked to the center stage of all where the giant stood and challenged him.
I believe you must known the story before now, but there’s something I want to show you from that event.
When David challenged Goliath, Goliath cursed him and said to him,
1 Samuel 17:44 “Come over here, and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and wild animals!”
For standing up to intimidation, Goliath promised to end David’s life. Some times, God’s people find themselves in such situation.
Intimidated by Giants; political Giants, economic Giants, academic and financial Giants, and when they chose to stand against such intimidation, they’re threatened.
When they refuse to accept such Injustice, they receive real threats to their lives and their businesses.
David faced such a threat, but instead of panicking and speaking out of fear, he spoke out of Faith.
Look at the reply of David,
1 Samuel 17:45 David shouted in reply, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord Almighty—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
1 Samuel 17:46 “Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel!”
David never held any sword of matchet with him, yet, he promised to cut off Goliath’s words.
If you read further, you’ll see he did cut Goliath’s head off.
This is the power of the spoken word. When you speak out of Faith, God responds.
God responds to the re-echoing of His word.
He took Ezekiel to the valley of dry bones and commanded Ezekiel to speak, as Ezekiel spoke God’s word, the bones came back to life.
Do not talk based on circumstances, talk based on God’s word.
Don’t talk based on your fear, talk as a man of faith.
Release God’s word into your family and business everyday.
God has promised you so much in his word, it’s time to echo those promises.
Psalm 23:1: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want”
We quote this Psalm as a closing benediction, but this was the Confession of a man who had mastered the art of faith speaking.
Mat 17:20 KJV “verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Speak to that mountain facing you!
Could it be sickness? Declare that you are healed by the stripes of the Lord.
Could it be debt, declare that you’re a giver and not a borrower.
Don’t keep silent.
Don’t live in this world casually.
Before studying, speak wisdom and understanding to your mind,
Befor going for that job interview, speak favor unto it.
At first, it might seem to be a waste of time, but the more you speak with faith, the more potent your words become.
Here are some Bible promises from God to you, declare them daily
Psalms 27:2 “When evil people come to destroy me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.”
Psalms 18:2: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the rock of my salvation, and my stronghold.”
Psalms 1:3: “They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper.”
God bless you!
News Feed or God’s Feed?

One of the great qualities a of Medical doctor is that he pays absolute attention to his medical books.
Whatever he sees in the Book, he practices in the Theater, whatever he sees in the theater, he goes back to study in his books.
The same with a law student. A Law Student does not joke with his books because he knows his success is tied to the knowledge he gains and practices from them.
Do you know that Christianity is far greater than these professions. Paul referred to Christianity as a ‘high calling’.
It is being called out of the world to have a relationship with God. Everything you ever need to succeed as a Christian is in a Book.
That book is called the Bible. The Bible is God’s manual to us on how to succeed even in the midst of darkness and enemies. It is one of the commonest, yet, neglected books.
Take a stroll within your church hall after the Sunday service and you’ll observe several Bibles littered on the ground, neglected by their owners. This shows the value that they place on their Bible.
The Bible is God’s letter to Believers. The Epistles of Paul, Peter and the Apostles are not really their Epistles, they’re simply the Epistles of God written to His Church through those men.
Neglecting your Bible is the same as neglecting the voice of God. This is because the Bible came as a result of God speaking to men.
God said to Joshua, ‘…. Ye shall meditate therein day and night, for it, thou shalt obtain good success’
God was telling Joshua, if you want to be successful, meditate on my word, that is the textbook for success in this Kingdom.
In turbulent times like this, the media is throwing poisonous diets to us through their news. They’re ever reporting news of death, tragedies going on around the world.
If you’re not careful, these things can cause weeds to grow within you and choke up your faith. Instead of giving yourself to negative news, why not give yourself to God’s own News.
Hallelujah!
The Media calls theirs, News Feed,
Well, after getting their News Feed, make sure you flush it out of your system and take in God’s own News Feed, the Bible. Every day with the Bible offers new information, new Instruction, new insight that has never been seen before.
Update your spirit with God’s Word. Hold onto it. Let God’s word become more real to you than even your situation.
Everything you’re going through has already been spoken about through His Word, it’s left for you to search it out and believe in it.
Act 27:25: “(Paul speaking) Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”
Paul was in a ship being taken on a journey. But on the way to their destination, a severe storm began. It was thunderous and frightening.
The men in the ship with Paul began to panic. From the look of things, they were going to lose both their properties and their lives. But at night, the Angel of the Lord appeared to Paul and gave Him a Word from the Lord saying, ‘Neither you nor the men with you shall lose their lives’.
This is a tough season for many, we’ve never had deaths like this in history. Here in Nigeria, death is becoming like a trend. In the US, Covid deaths keep getting higher. This is like a storm; a storm so frightening, that it seems we might all be destroyed in it.
You might have lost a loved one to it, and you’re wondering whether you’re next, do not be afraid. God has said in His word that He will shield you from the arrows that flies by day and the plagues at night (Psalm 91).
Like Paul, declare, ‘It shall be even as I was told’.
Believe that this situation shall end up as God promised in His Word.
In all, get addicted to God’s word, feed on God’s promises, hold onto them as an anchor, and in time, you’ll pass through this storm Hale, hearty and more stronger than ever.
God Bless You!
If you were blessed by this, please give it a like, retweet and drop a comment, I’ll reply right away 😊🙏🙏
The Late Dawn

Old age comes with weakness and frail mind
A time between adulthood and death.
When old age creeps on me
When wrinkles appears on my face,
When All my hair turns gray,
When life’s candle goes gloom,
When my eyes grow dim…
I will keep glancing
Never retiring but refiring.
Stretching forth my hands to finishing domestics work,
Rendering more service to the creator,
Telling life tales to younger ones, and also
Thinking positively the rest of my life with optimism.
I shall embrace you without fear
Because my adolescence and adulthood shall have been Worthily spent.
Come, the late dawn.
