Sunset at Dawn

The dawn brings bad tidings
The birds, songs of sorrow.
The Constitution has lost it’s hold
I have lost my freewill.

Sons of the soil
Has polluted the soul
Blood of the innocent
And blood of innocence

The soil cries out in pain.
The blood screams of injustice
The bereaved with arms akimbo
Seeks for undeniable justice.

It has become sunset at dawn.
Those meant to protect
Had brought out the protest.
They matched with an unshakable quest.

The average man has become poor.
The poor has become a shadow.
Chaos and confusion everywhere.
Who should we believe?

The dawn, a sigh of hope.
The dawn, a sigh of disaster
The dawn, another murderous day
Sunset at dawn.

The morning supposed to bring hope
Now comes with sorrow.
Youths against youths
Are we in a civil war?

The marauding beast
Let loose by cruel night fall
Has taken advantage
And has refused to go back at dawn.
